It's one of our favourite go to places!!??? But this past Saturday was definitely not one of those days. Both my husband n I have been sick since sat night. Throwing up the entire night on sat n Sunday with runs. Not pleasant gotten very weak from something we ate at Joeys don mills n Lawrence. We may need to reconsider. ??? This restaurant is amazing! The place looks great, and getting a table wasn't a problem at all. The servers were very nice and made themselves useful. The best part was, there was a live jazz band! How amazing is that? The food here was very good, I had the lamb shank and for dessert, I had the seasonal warm fruit crumble, which were both very delicious. Took my boyfriend for his birthday lunch on 01 Feb and ordered off the Winterlicious menu. Each course was perfectly presented and just right, portion-wise. When dessert came, they had put a candle on his plate along with "Joyeux Anniversaire" written in chocolate along the edge. A very nice touch! Our server Chad was very attentive, polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the wine list. Will definitely return for more!! Read more

Made a reservation online, probably a good idea, heard it was a busy spot. We were late for our reservation but they honored it. And it was packed. I had the special, can't remember the type of beef but it was one of the best hamburgers I've ever had, and the poutine was also amazing. My girl had the turkey burger and sweet potato fries and she loved it. We also had the Pickle Fries (good) as a starter and two pints of beer, bill with tip was around $80.
