Tried this place out with my mom for her Birthday dinner and we both enjoyed our meals. Nice drink combinations too. Came back with a friend and a Groupon, but I made a mistake about reading the fine print amd they were sincerely gracious when I was paying the bill. It was appreciated. That was an even better meal then the last one for me! The desserts make me want to stop by there randomly just to eat a treat on occasion. Will go back again for sure. Read more

I lived in Rome for five years growing up and the food at Allegro is of the same quality and in many cases better than the cuisine in Rome. The Cannelloni is the best I have ever had. The rack of lamb rates 10 out of 10. I just returned from two weeks in Italy and was disappointed in the quality of food in many of the local restaurants. I was skeptical at first because they ranked so high in reviews and this place was located in Delta/Surrey but I must say I was really impressed. I think Ive been to all the Japanese restaurants along the Westcoast and Akari is absolutely top notch. Their black rice specialty rolls and tempura were especially memorable.
