I dont understand the previous negative reviews...? I have been going here for years and the food has been always good. I have never received bad service. The service is average but never bad. I went the other day with a couple of friends and I have to say it was a nice cozy place to spend the day with a couple of friends. The sushi was tasty, the service was great. They were so polite and friendly. To the person below, this is Canada. Not Japan or anywhere else in Asia, where their specialties are Asian food. Also didn't help the fact you had high expectations going in which could have affected your overall impression. "Worst sushi" is not something I would use for this restaurant. I definitely recommend it for a night out with your friends and family or even just a lunch with a friend. Read more

We used the take out service from the diner and they were very fast and actually FOUND our apartment, which is rare. The food is the best I've had from any asian restaurant. The selection on the menu is fabulous, offering dishes from several different areas. Nothing was greasy or overcooked. We will definetly eat here again. I often go here for lunch since I work nearby. The Japanese chef is very friendly and welcoming. I've had an incredibly pleasant experience every time just being in this quiet and calm restaurant (although every once in a while it's absolutely full with a lunch crowd!) I like the sushi, salmon nigiri in particular, and their uni is very very good. They don't carry toro at all, by choice. Squid, scallop, hamachi, all great. Rolls are very lovely presented. Everyone I've ever taken with me to this place has enjoyed it, whether they were sushi-addicted like me or just into it once in a while. I'm definetly going back. Read more
