We have visited many Italian reataurants throughout Ontario from Brockville to Niagara Falls, Oshawa to North Bay and Avanti's in Oshawa is number one. Not because we live here, because of the food, the service, the friendly atmosphere and the cleanliness of this establishment. Their Fusilli in Bianco is our favorite. We have dined there many times before Oshawa Generals Hockey games and Shows at the newly renovated Regent Theatre. And we are so proud to mention Avanti's everywhere we go. Lots of variety. Excellent prices. The one thing about this place that annoys me is that they never bring your bill to the table -- I always have to go to the cash to find out how much the bill is and pay. Even if you are not into sushi, it is worth a trip to Kakemono! My boyfriend LOVES sushi and although I don't mind it, it is not my favourite meal in the world. However, I love Teriyaki and the Teriyaki dishes on Kakemono's all you can eat menu are wonderful. The prices are reasonable when compared to the price you may for most all-you-can-eat places and the food was great. We will be going back in the near future! Read more
