whats not to love about the place ok one thing no bathroom but the food certainly speaks for itself and the meat is fresh. the service exceptional. Unlike it's competition in ajax ( the butchers grill) they treat their customers like family, They have been in business for years and this is the reason why great food great service and integrity from the owners and staff makes this place a landmark. Ate at Windies on a whim on a Monday night. The atmosphere was nice and waitress was friendly. They have a very diverse selection of Caribbean and Chinese-style food, and a good assortment of cocktails - unfortunately, no beer on tap. I had the Jerk mixed chow-mein and bbq wings. Wings were better than expected at this type of joint, and the main entree was good and *massive*, especially given the ~$13 price. Would definitely return. Read more

They pride themselves on their staff as well as ensuring that any major game that is playing is on every TV. This means hockey, baseball, football, UFC, golf- you name it they have it. Oh and the wings, fries and garlic dip is delicious. My personal favorite is the Hot n Honey wing sauce or the Suicide wing sauce. I would suggest going on Tuesday for wing night, or on Thurs or Fri which is their busiest nights. I had reservations about going to another Wimpy's, after having such a disastrous experience at the one in my town. The boyfriend however had eaten here many times, and told me that he'd really enjoyed it, and we needed a place we could take his year old son and all of us be comfortable. I was quite happy with my experience at this Wimpy's. The food was good, portions huge, service prompt (though she was carrying on a conversation with the family at the table beside us every time she came to our table). No complaints really. Read more

Not a bad place to get some wings and beer. We have been there a couple of times and have left happy both times. The place was very busy as there was a Leaf game on and we were seated right away and served right away. Remember, you are going to a sports bar and the food is good for a sports bar. Well, here's a place that does a great fish and chips even though it's not their specialty, the kind of place I have been searching for since, well, a long time ago. The chips are excellent too, definitely cut and fried on the premises, no frozen stuff here. The waitress was quick to warn us that due to a large private function upstairs the service was going to be a bit slow, she was correct but we won't hold that against them.
