I am new to SFs (3 yrs). Man Ling Restaurant is the only Chinese restaurant (except for 1 in Brockville) that I eat at, for a number of reasons: First all of their food is MSG-free, is fabulous and always fresh (nothing heated up from 2 hours ago). The best egg rolls ever and my favourite is beef and green peppers. I have eaten there over 25 times and it's always perfect. Hats off to Man Ling. Don't forget the service, relaxed and friendly staff. My favourite restaurant of all time (a 10). Read more

Great food that is well priced keeps us coming back over and over again. The atmosphere is nothing spectacular but it is clean and well maintained. It simply doesn't wow. We drop in frequently for a quick meal and order one of the vermicelli bowl dishes. Coupled with green tea it makes for a very tasty and satisfying meal. When we visit with more people we like to order a variety of dishes and have yet to be disappointed. The sizzling seafood platter is particularly tasty. Overall not a particularly flashy restaurant, but great food at good prices keeps us coming back over and over again. Read more

This little fish and chip shop on main street in Prescott is by far the best in the Ottawa area. I have tried a couple others in Brockville and still will drive out a little farther to have the food from here. It is take-out mostly but does have a sitdown type bar with a few stools for while you wait and the staff is always pleasant. The batter on the fish is wonderful, the filling is mostly fish and not batter alone, as some other places offer, and the fries are to die for also; never over cooked and home-made. They have stuffed mushrooms and recently when I was there a new menu item of the great fries with finely ground and seasoned hamburger and melted cheese with green onion and hot jalapena peppers -- hmm hmmm very good. The owner is really named Tim and is a very nice guy who is often on site. Reasonable prices for all you get with some left over. Read more

I had the veggie smash burger with sweet potato fries. It was the best veggie burger I've ever had. It came home made mustard, relish and ketchup on the side (all were amazing).
