We have eaten at the Quarry for many years, usually for breakfast, but occasionally for lunch and dinner. We used too live a walk's distance away, but even though we've moved from the neighborhood still drop down. It's decent food, good portions and we've always found, good service. We have found that on events such as Mothers or Fathers days there will be lineup, but you generally don't have to wait to long to seated. My only criticism, is that they could use 1 more serving staff in the morning on these occasions. That being said, meals seem to get to you in not too bad a time. And......they keep that coffee cup filled up. I'm going to address what I read in the other thread on this place. Like I said, I have been to the Quarry many times and have seen countless children there in my visits . I have 2 children (teenagers now) that we have taken there since they were infants. They, and us, were always made to feel welcome, and valued customers. I don't doubt the women's story, but never have I seen anything like it happen. Read more

I had the special, can't remember the type of beef but it was one of the best hamburgers I've ever had, and the poutine was also amazing. We've been to the Granite Brewery a number of times as the food is always fantastic with generous portions. In addition to the delicious food, they have a good selection of their own brews. We especially enjoyed their Ringwood, a delightful blonde. There are different atmospheres for different tastes, but at the Granite Brewery they have several to choose from. Two excellent patios, a bar, and a family restaurant area, all designed for comfort. The rear patio looks particularly amazing, but as it was raining, we'll just have to wait until next time to try it out. It should also be noted that the Granite Brewery has free parking with easy access. The Granite Brewery gets our highest recommendation and we will be back soon. Read more
