We also received real horrible service from the Bayly and Harwwood store. The manager should not be a Manager. He is absolutely disgraceful to Swiss Chalet - giving the chain a real bad name!!! Almost everyone I speak with agree with me. The portions are small. The food is cold most of the time. The Manager refuse to listen to anyone -maybe he has a hearing problem because customers keep yelling for him and he doesn't respond!!!! Absolutely disgusting service!!!!!
Horrible Horrible service from Bayly and Harwood in Ajax. The Manager was not polite - did not smile -not for a second. If we wanted anything, we had to look for him and then ask. I am also a business owner and I tell people about my experience - they all agree with me because they shared similar experiences.
We were sat in a section that was piled high with dirty dishes, glasses, food on the floor, dirty rags on the floor and an over worked waitress. The rap was actually frozen, even had ice crystals on it. the double leg arrived as a half chicken with mash (ordered baked) the sour creme arrived HOT.
The waitress was trying but over worked. I consulted the manager after the food arrived about the witress being overworked and the dirty mess and was told to mind my one business and that he did not need business advice from me. I would send someone I hate to this location.
I have visited many Swiss Chalet's thoughout the GTA. This location is the only one that is always out of white meat. 3 of 4 times we have visited in the last year!. I understand it is popular choice however it does not seem to be a consistant problem at any of their other locations.
Additionally this location is dirty and run down. I felt sorry for the hostess first day on the job being asked to let guests know as they came in there was no white meat available...
